It's a Friday night. Ten strangers gather in a candlelit room somewhere in Auckland's Grey Lynn, wearing nothing but matching red aprons. Launching in Auckland on Friday, it's billed as an opportunity to "celebrate your birthday suit and ride the thrill of being naked in front of new friends".

The Innato Tenerife - which opened this week - encourages diners to peel off for a mouth-watering menu in what owners describe as an 'orgasmic atmosphere'. Guests have to check in their smartphones and cameras to spare other customers' blushes before they are led to a changing room to strip down to a bathrobe. The naked truth: A couple hold hands over the table at the new nudist restaurant in Spain. The happy ending dessert: A male model poses with chocolate all over him ready to be eaten. Can I take your order, please? A waitress takes down an order at the bar of the new restaurant. Then they walk to their candlelit table where they take off the robes and soak up the intimate atmosphere. Discreet bamboo partitions screen tables from each other so customers are able to let themselves go without the fear of being seen.
By Imogen Blake For Mailonline. More than 46, people were on the waiting list to dine at what was billed as London's first ever naked restaurant this summer - but only a fraction actually got to try the experience. But those desperate to try dining out in the buff at Bunyadi may now have their chance as the restaurant's owner has announced plans to open a permanent location in London. Bunyadi guests were greeted by staff who were also in the nude, with their genitals only covered by some shrubbery. Bunyadi, where staff pictured were as naked as the diners, was only open for three months and had a waiting list of more than 46, people. Divided into clothed and naked sections - where photography and the use of phones was strictly banned - bamboo walls divided the handful of tables to give diners privacy. The naked theme extended into the kitchen and dining area, which ran without gas or electricity.
Such an amazing group of people, we had such a great night! The whole evening flowed beautifully. We both made amazing new friends, for which we are eternally grateful. We woke up the next day feeling renewed. As a couple the experience intensified our bond even further and deeply awakened our adventurous spirits. We can't wait for the next ones in NZ and beyond! I feel we all celebrated deeper understandings of our own bodies and the fact that we are all in such unique vessels. We recommend The Naked Dinner to everyone!! If you are a sceptic, why not challenge yourself to do something out of your comfort zone and question where your judgement comes from. What a night!
